Resolved Does anyone know why I can't update my stories description?

I can't update my stories description. It let's me edit it, click save, but it doesn't save at all. Is it one of those, my description needs to be separately accepted? If so, how long does that take? Cause I tried like 8 hours ago, and then again now.

I am having the same problem. Recently went in to alter the description/blurb, and despite getting a "saved" message, the content is unchanged.

I'm sure I've had this issue yesterday. But by now, it has been updated - took hours, though.

Do you have at least one chapter to the book (as a draft or live?) Not sure if that would do anything but worth a shot.

Well, I recently changed mine (more than 24 hours ago), and it still has not updated.
Idk what the deal is...
Maybe story description requires manual approval the way cover changes do?
If not then it's still an active bug.

Updates are happening, just very delayed. Sad, I couldn't tell the difference between changes. Sorry for the vein popping in advance

I have been having this issue all week and still, nothing has updated yet. It is an issue affecting both of my stories.

Have you tried the following?:

1.) Before updating it, if no live chapters are set and no drafts exists, make at least one unpublished draft of dummy data. Nothing fancy, just something that tethers your story to an actual framework instead of being just a template.
2.) Check basic browser settings for cookies, not having duplicate tabs open, bla bla, technical details.
3.) Alter your old description to new description, hit save, after seeing saved message, hit "create" or navigate somewhere new without hitting the back arrow key, then log out, wait 4 hours, log back in and check.

I have 30 chapters published with 4 scheduled (on my main story), have use 3 separate browsers on 3 different devices (including mobile), and yes. I have 2 different stories and both have this issue. (I tried to change the description on the second story as a test. Chapters post and update when editing with out any issue, the description is the only thing that says it saved abut doesnt update.)

Looks like posting on here caused something to happen as both of the descriptions finally updated. Now I have to remove my test description from the second story. (I originally tried to update my main story description Monday evening. I don't know if the server is just getting really slow, or if posting here caused someone in support to check it.)

I was nervous about updating "thing X" on a book, for fear of anything. It went thru, just took forever. For me, patience, and not just regular patience. But the patience of JOB himself... is my new watchwords for anything to do with writing.
