@Humanistheart writes a wonderful gender bender story called Cameron to Candy. It has BDSM elements, but the story has really extensive worldbuilding and colorful characters. And the gender aspect is quite introspective! Highly recommend. And he comes here pretty often, just don’t post much.

If I ever resume mine (Strange Awakening is on hiatus indefinitely as I have about 1/10th of the time for writing I had when I was working on it actively; heck, given the MCs in True Blue are shapeshifters, it might count too, but wouldn't really get much into the gender identity side of things for about four story arcs), I might be interested but right now nope.

Sure, why not. Collateral Damage has our hero, a college soccer star, having their gender magically flipped and obliged to play on the women's team. Non-smutty, for the most part, but its a fun sports/social drama that hopefully will be worth a read for some ::)

Lemme know!
@SouthernMaiden :
time for my obligatory funny true story.
I decided to take a "fresh look" at the Isekai genre/trope.
you know, how would an outsider coming in from...
"paperbacks" world to "web novel" world as a fresh eye, what would they do, what would they not do

the tough guy MC is isekai'd into a young female.

its G rated. I knew from the outset, the book would be asexual.
while discussing the basic premise, it took me a short time to figure out that...
everyone assumed it was a 'gender bender' novel idea.
everyone assumed I was chasing 'discord tranny' readers.
(I had to look up new vocabulary words to understand the above two lines. LMAO)

None of this was my intention, I just thought it would be entertaining.
but... I really don't care *who* reads my book.
readers are readers, clicks are clicks.

if you want to read it, to see...
that's the first 19 chapter "experiment" or "treatment" to see how it was going.
I'm now on "pause", trying to gauge how it went.

but if it "clicks" with tranny discord people? (on accident, but still)
as I said. reader engagement is reader engagement.
Woah, maybe don't call us that phrase! I don't get offended but other people may...

We are nice normal people. I swear!

background.
wasn't all that long ago, either.
everyone was using strange vocabulary words. As I wondered, I had to look them up.
"Isekai" was my first assimilated vocabulary word. Others followed, slowly.

I recently learned the new vocabulary word... "futa".
and just last night? I looked up "yandere". Cool concept, I liked that one.

so, to specify :
--- the 'naughty phrase' I need to know and not use, is... ??? (you didn't tell me, so how can I avoid it.)
--- the *proper* vocabulary word(s) i *should* use is.......??? (you need to tell me, or I don't know)

after that, we should be all good. But I can't read minds.

I think most of us hang out in trans author discords instead, generally.
Could just say trans people! (y)
I'm going to make the intuitive leap that the term "author" is neither here nor there.
" trans discord", is the approved term.
"tranny discord", will offend everyone.
I'll make a note of that.

I once wandered into a chat room online somewhere, and I got called...
"cis white breeder scum".
I was told I shouldn't take offense to being called that. If I took offense, I was fragile.
that was the day I learned that "cat girls" are not, in fact, girls sharing cute cat memes.
I mean, naming a chat room "cat girls", how could anyone get the wrong idea, you know.

anyways, that totally normal conversation out of the way...
you can let me know if I should put "gender bender" TAG on my "Betrayal" novel.
or not. your choice.

and if you think it would be appreciated for whatever reason, in certain circles... let me know.
as i said.
clicks are clicks. reads are reads. numbers are numbers.
my "ranking" doesn't know anything except how to count.
