@SouthernMaiden :
time for my obligatory funny true story.
I decided to take a "fresh look" at the Isekai genre/trope.
you know, how would an outsider coming in from...
"paperbacks" world to "web novel" world as a fresh eye, what would they do, what would they not do
the tough guy MC is isekai'd into a young female.
its G rated. I knew from the outset, the book would be asexual.

everyone assumed it was a 'gender bender' novel idea.
everyone assumed I was chasing 'discord tranny' readers.
(I had to look up new vocabulary words to understand the above two lines. LMAO)
None of this was my intention, I just thought it would be entertaining.
but... I really don't care *who* reads my book.
readers are readers, clicks are clicks.
if you want to read it, to see...
A hard boiled private detective in the rough end of the city gets betrayed by those closest to him and brutally murdered. He wakes up in a strange new world and tries to make the best of his second chance at life. He has no idea what destiny has in...

that's the first 19 chapter "experiment" or "treatment" to see how it was going.
I'm now on "pause", trying to gauge how it went.
but if it "clicks" with tranny discord people? (on accident, but still)
as I said. reader engagement is reader engagement.
