I got a 404 error on my fanfic. I indicated that it was my work and that I was translating it from my native language. I'd been publishing this fanfic

I published a chapter today, and a reader wrote that the book is unavailable. But it appears in my author profile, and I can edit it. What should I do?
So, I don't know what to do or where to write yet, and I'll try to figure this out as soon as possible. And I really don't understand what's going on. And it's giving me a headache. Because up until now, everything was fine. If anyone has any advice or knows how to solve this problem, please help.

Was it perhaps fanfiction or translation?
If translation, it was yeeted away because they aren't allowed here.

If it were fanfiction, and you link to Patreon or another similar site in the chapters, the link would be removed.
However, if you tried to obscure it as p@treon or similarly to game the system, you broke the rules, and it was taken down.
Fanfiction cannot be monetized.

If no to all above, contact administration using "Contact Us" in the footer of the main site.

What if I provided a Patreon link? What should I do to return the book? Should I delete all those links?

If you broke the rules, there is nothing you can do now.
Good day/night to you.

As I understand it, there's nothing I can do to restore my FF? Even if I delete all the Patreon links?

You can always try sending an appeal, but I highly doubt it will pass.
Use "Contact Us" on the main page and attach a link to your story when sending it.

the work itself is now moot. you have access to it so you can still do what you want with it off site. However, you yourself are not banned. you can still start a new fiction, and do follow the rules when you do. but this particular story you have up is now no longer allowed on the site. But do appeal. see what happens.

Well, whatever, maybe I'll get lucky and my FF will be back on the shelves. Because if not, this site is even more pathetic than I initially assumed. They don't even send a single notification about any violations, but simply delete them without saying a word.

Well, maybe they'll put it back on the shelves. I don't even have the energy to republish it—almost 3 million words and over 620 chapters—on the new website.

And why, pray tell, should they inform you that you broke the rules you accepted upon posting the story instead of deleting it?
If you didn't break the rules, nothing would happen. There are solutions in place to automatically remove monetizing links from fanfictions, so you had to deliberately hide them.
So no, it's not the site that is pathetic, but you, my friend.

Sorry sir, but the website’s terms of service stated that they can and will remove things without saying a word.

For two years, just a year ago I started publishing on this site, and before that I published on another one.

Yes, yes, I'm a blind idiot. What can I do? Oh, I should probably read the site rules. But I didn't expect this site to delete a story for including a Patreon link.

I started publishing on webnovels for the first time. And the fanfic "The Daily Life of the Demon King"
The one that was on trending? Someone must have mass reported your story. That's the downside of trending.

:blob_neutral: It says one year there ... Astonishing writing speed regardless for a native Russian. :blob_cookie: Did you use translation tools, I presume?

I translated using AI, and the translations were simply excellent. As for writing chapters, I simply write every day. I started with about 2,000 words per chapter, and now I'm up to 5,000 words per chapter, and now I'm up to almost 6,000 words per chapter. I also mentioned that I only used AI for translating chapters. I'm not so clumsy that I can't edit chapters myself. Editing is easier than translating, and fortunately, there are AIs that help with translation and don't corrupt the text during translation into another language.
Only for fanfictions.
Well, I didn't know that. I'd been publishing chapters on this site for a year now, and I hadn't even thought about reading the site rules. I didn't even suspect such a rule existed.

If this site is so pathetic, why did you bother posting here in the first place? And deleting works without warning is embedded in the terms of service you clearly did not bother to read, same as posting illegal content, which includes monetized fanfictions, as that is a clear copyright violation. That is on you, and nobody else, nobody owes you a warning for breaking the law.

Remove links, appeal, and hope Tony is merciful.
