Premise: individual dies and is reincarnated as dungeon core decides to theme his dungeon around the theme of games.
Restrictions: no death games like jigsaw or squid games. If you need lethality would prefer something akin to the Shadow games from Yu-Gi-Oh or utilizing a system that gives delvers certain number of strikes before they are absorbed by the dungeon.

But the individual is from the Philippines. Any fatality is now just them returning home. It's worse than going to hell.

Shadow realm you say? Well, in that case, I'd literally just make the entire dungeon dueling "A robot" That's actually me. I know they got a digital game to play Yugioh now, but everyone just spams one turn victory decks. So forcing people to play with me when entering my dungeon? Yes please.

You all seem to be thinking rather small what about:floor 1- 10 easy card games(uno, phase 10,etc.) Floor 11-19 immersive board games( make them have to play rolls in the game from the inside) floor 20 throw them into a game of betrayal at house on the hill.

Ones I've done in D&D over the years:

The adventurers must form (recruit from natives if not enough players) a full Blood Bowl (or equivalent) Fantasy Football (Rugby) League... (also had a version closer to socker - a lot less mayhem there but still some)

Throw them into Bodywrecker, a giant pinball machine. The key to the next area is only available if the score reaches a certain level, and the PCs can run around hitting targets, setting off bumpers, etc.... but be careful, lest they trigger the dreaded MULTIBALL...

One I wanted to do but never got around to: Look up some of the foreign versions of Chess - Korean, Indian, etc. Depending on where they end up (including straddling squares, as some pieces, like the Korean ... not sure if it's the Cannon or the Elephant ... that can only move along the lines between squares. If a player ends up in one of the King or Queen spots, they may command any piece to move (or not to - PCs get a Save to resist); otherwise, a disembodied voice (the Dungeon Master, suggests moves and gives them a 20 second counter to either take the suggestion or do something else.
