Hi, my series is currently under review. In the meantime, I'd like to post some of the artworks here. By the way, I did the black-and-white outline, and my artist friend did the rest.

I’ll occasionally update the artworks here. Feel free to give me feedback.

direct upload has a file limit of 1 MB if you link it then there's no limit, but huge pictures should be resized as it will look weird on small displays

I think the major factions banner would look better with a background instead of just white space.

I like the art, and I like the banners as well; however, I have to say they are the epitome of genericness.

The map itself is perfectly balanced, almost symmetrical.

If you create something like that with similarity, unity, and balance in mind, it feels empty and boring. Every continent looks the same; they all have mountains, deserts, frozen territories, woods, plains, islands, and access to water in equal proportions. Even the size of the territories looks identical, since the right continent is slightly larger.

I’m thinking the same thing. I had already planned to create a parchment-style background, but my friend is currently working on another project.

Thank you for your input. My friend isn’t an expert in fantasy maps (which is why I was able to hire him). At first he didn’t even understand what a fantasy map was and filled an entire island with just one house. I admit that this map is still lower in quality compared to proper fantasy maps, but I still plan to improve it in the future. I’m considering a medieval style with heavy line art instead of the current style.

No, no, it isn't the map itself. As I said, it looks great. This is about the CONTENT of the map. The map itself is perfectly fine and looks fine. I just think your world and kingdoms/empire look a little too clean and evenly distributed.
Also, just 5 different nations is not a lot and doesn't leave you with much room later on in the story.
