I agree that a story should be entertaining above all else. But will it really stand out so clearly if we don't think about it (the moral) ? Maybe ? When I talk about a "moral" it's something like writing a story about how it's important to love yourself for exemple Everyone can write so idk...

As strange as it may seem, I am INCAPABLE of writing and imagining a story without first thinking about the hidden message I want to convey to the reader. And I wonder if I'm the only one in this situation ? Is this a bad thing ? Does a story have to be used to teach a moral ? Perhaps it is due...
