@Kurayami that is very true. I made several of my og covers myself with some basic png editors and some non-copyrighted pictures.

Kurayami, that nuance is going straight to my opinion evaluation machine (brain).

There is even more nuance when you consider that authors can make covers for free. It only takes like 5-10 minutes to add text.

You can't use ai cover on monetized fictions. That's illegal. Other than that, it's not against the rules.

While I feel similarly, some people can't afford real covers so they rely on what they can until they can afford to get a real cover...

I actively avoids any novels with patreon links in it, no hate to the authors I just don't like slop.
