Stuff like this unironically makes me fear for the future.
I'm sorry, but there is just simply no way anybody writes novels with the same length, depth, polish, etc, using just a phone Vs a more appropriate setup e.g. desktop or laptop. 100% guarantee you these writers are pumping out...
Currently only Royal Road, though I plan to eventually upload it here as well. Probably after book 1 is complete. The thing is, only uploading on one site first is useful because it means you can address reader feedback/concerns before you upload it elsewhere. Royal road is like 'ground zero'...
Thanks for replying!
The website will have the chapters on them as well, but only after each book is completed e.g. updates are only posted on the site (e.g. scribble, RR, etc.), and the actual website is merely updated all at once with the new chapters when all of them are out. I assume this...
What is the policy in this regard? My story is currently on Royal Road (nearing a thousand followers btw!), but I'd like to start posting it here as well once I finish the first book/season.
I have a wiki that's deep in development where you can read about the characters, more deeper lore...
That sounds noble in theory, but in practice, it just screws over the people who actually take their writing seriously. There's a reason serious authors usually do at least some promotion for their work: without ads, getting noticed becomes largely random and more a matter of luck than of skill...
Thank you for your replies! I do have one extra question, though.
How do you guys get exposure, when there's no option to advertise on-site like on Royal Road? Without ads, what's stopping the story from just drowning in the ocean of stories?
Thank you for your response. I have a second question after glancing over the content guidelines and seeing these two:
1. Pornographic stories - These are content that are basically porn without a plot. This is referring to the whole story, not a chapter or 50% of your story.
2. AI Generated...
Greetings! I've been writing web fiction on other platforms for a couple years and recently found out about scribblehub (well technically, I created an account here like 2 years ago, but then for some reason forgot about it until recently).
I'm interested in posting my stories here, but before...
I use AI to edit my writing. But the keyword is 'edit' e.g. I'm still creating the story. Furthermore, I use extremely complex prompts to ensure that the style is exactly as I want it. This is the future tbh. 90% of writers will be using AI in at least some capacity in the future.
I'm currently writing a fantasy/horror/furry thing with erotica in it if that counts.
Speaking of which, are there any rules here against furry content?
