Funny you say that, cuz the story IS divided into two volumes on Royal Road. The first volume is 600 pages. The second is 500 pages so far. Sorry... EDIT: At least according to Google Drive, using A5 paper size. Royal Road (where the whole story is posted so far) reports 947 for both chapters.

Objectively speaking, the way humanity interacts with the world is basically abusive at the moment. We're choking the Earth to death with manmade climate change and we're using way more resources than the world can possibly give us. It's actually kind of scary to think about.
