Hello greentreeworm, I would find it sad, if you stopped writing because of one reader that did not like your story. A group of humans can hardly agree on anything. All of us have different opinions and preferences. Do not let a different opinion drag you down. Greetings!

It depends on the quality problems. If there are only small inconsistencies it should be fine, but if everything is just one giant plot hole, editing is needed. There is only so much you can fix after ending the story without rewriting everything.

The problem I have with fanfics is if they are bad. Imagine really liking a story and then someone adds something that does not fit at all. I understand why people write them, but I do not like reading them.
