But don't be fool, "Súp" of the Vietnamese is a more specific word, often referred to more thick liquids, refer to "Súp cua" or Crab súp English can use "Soup" as in a broth or a stock, while Vietnamese prefers "Nước dùng" or "Canh" depending on the ingredient, viciousity etc

Is in fact, the word for Soup in Vietnamese if we add a little diacritic Súp
