Well, use action tags and dialogue tags (said, asked, etc) as needed by the narrative.

One thing about tags, readers don't remember your character's identity or mannerisms as much as you. If we stop reading and come back...

That's only possible if the reader recognizes the characters after reading a few chapters (especially the character introductions). But...

It's a balancing act. One can certainly go overboard with lips curling, words being "growled", eyebrows being described all the time...
