I am Cora Black. I am a trans woman. I am a survivor. I have chosen to take back what was stolen from me and make it into something beautiful. I will heal my heart with gold, because it deserves no less. I write about trauma, pain, and darkness. I also write about empowerment, liberation, and agency. My soul and heart have been starved since i was born, and I put every ounce of what i have left into my characters. My soul breathes through them.
I am a soul who is determined to undertake the cold, lonely, difficult road ahead of a survivor. I will liberate myself, and live in the country I love, Japan. It is the most beautiful place I have ever had the honor of being. The culture, the life, the soul speaks to me at my core. I will travel the road alone, but I am always looking for other adventurers to travel with. Whether it be a sister or a soul-deep bond, I want to share my journey. I want to know about yours. Maybe we can forge a path together.
