Male author here writing GL. My protagonist's relationship (non-harem) is so wholesome and secure and communicative that I've had multiple comments from readers in relief at finding a story where the characters actually talk to each other instead of randomly hiding things for plot reasons.

Factorio, EU4, Stellaris and similar games are games I've grown out of in the last 5 years. In fact, the older I get (old man at 31 atm) - the less I enjoy games. Even MMOs... Old School Runescape, GW1, GW2...

According to SH my average chappie length is 4.2k, with my max being 7k+. It's worked well for me and how I write my scenes. It is, of course, subjective on reader preference and chapter upload frequency. I think it's better to think of it more as how many words my readers are getting weekly...
