Yo, writing evil characters can be super fun! Try giving them motives that make sense to them—even if they're twisted. Maybe they think they're the hero in their own story. Add some depth and quirks to make them more relatable. A villain with layers is way more interesting than just a 'bad guy'...

I dig slow-burn stories, but it's really tough to write them in an engaging way...

Yeah, it's kinda a double-edged sword. If you join later, your characters might actually be stronger (which is pretty dumb on Hoyoverse's part, honestly), but sometimes you still need some old legendaries for synergy. Anyway, to answer your question, their games are pretty f2p friendly. I mean...
