    Gay Characters in Fiction

For some reason, in my experience, intentionally 'gay themed clubs' and good taste go together like peanut butter and sidewalk chalk. In fact, most 'sexuality themed clubs' are in hilariously bad taste. "Eyes wide shut" was a cute movie, but it doesn't really work that way.

How do you view your characters in your fiction?

To me, the Characters are basically my roleplaying friends... only they are tied up, with duct tape around their mouths, and I get to DECIDE what their characters say and do! muahahaha! That will teach you to one-shot the scary lich with a lucky die roll!

What do you like to drink when writing?

Diet Coke. I need the caffeine, but I don't want my feet falling off.

What's your biggest strength as a writer?

My basic command of English spelling and grammar. I also know what a comma is generally use'd for :)

    No more Praise Anon thread.

You seem to have a decent command of the English language and basic spelling and grammar. For here? That's high praise indeed :)

    Truth or Dare

I am confident that some day you will overcome the desperate need to use 'capslock'. Truth: explain the worst part of a novel you are writing (or reading if you are a reader instead) Dare: find the most disgusting, exploiting, and ridiculous novel you have seen on kindle ulimited, or that you...

So, I made this and I won't lie, it sounds tuff

Well, it would still fit the archetype... heavenly tribulations aren't always lightning, cultivation authors just use that as a shortcut. There are also mental tribulations (fight yourself!) heavenly beasts, morale, potential deviations, alchemical challenges, and sometimes just some kinda...

    Gay Characters in Fiction

good point. I have nonstandard sexuality characters in my books, but since I am not writing sex books, it really doesn't MATTER. people are people, and generally, what they do inthe bedroom only matters for certain genres.

    Writing The thing with pronouns

This is almost always true when it comes to speaking, except when specifically reacting or interrupting. Reactions and interruptions, however, are something you definitely have to learn by reading. Actions, however, are often a bit more complicated. Good writers are ALWAYS frequent readers.

    Gay Characters in Fiction

Just don't surprise the reader, since it IS a stress factor, politics aside. Most non-standard sexuality will be a stress factor unless you specifically mark the story as containing that. Of course, lots of readers specifically look for non-vanilla sexuality in their books, so it might be as...

Adult vs Mature vs Smut. What's the difference?

I don't understand resets. Especially around things like sexuality. Why not just... I don't know....write a new story?

Does your family know that you are a writer?

Well, it helps that both my wife and I are in our fifties and have been playing roleplaying games together since 'basic' D&D was a thing. If you have someone you can 'idiot check' scenes with, that is absolutely an enormous boon to your writing veracity, especially sex scenes and conversations...
