Elizabeth cut one of her finger with a knife and performed her treatment on herself. The wounds disappeared as if it was never there, leaving unblemished skin.

The knife, however, is not that lucky. Direct contact with Elizabeth's blood caused the metal to start smoking.

It melted, huh? I guess my blood is still as toxic as ever.



"Elizabeth Revin the XIV. At your service. Coffee and blood is good, but not every blood is safe to drink. Mine, for example..."

Aurora smiled. "Miss Elizabeth, a pleasure to meet you. What do you mean by coffee and blood is good? And what do you mean your blood is not safe to drink? Who are you?" Aurora tilted her head. Her magic was curious as well.

"Keine ursache, Aurora. It's a senior's job to look after her juniors. If you want more, I'll send you some the next time I brew some."

Chuckling affectionately, Swir patted Aurora, ruffling her hair.

"Arararara. Your body has some rather unique self defence mechanisms, Eli-chan."

Aurora enjoyed being ruffled. "I will keep that I mind. I would gladly accept your coffee. Your are the best senior I could wish for, Nacht."

(^^) Aurora kept her poker face. "But a little question Nacht, es ist im höchsten Maße selten jemanded vorzufinden in diesen Zeiten der noch der alten Sprachen mächtig ist. Sagen Sie mir, Nacht, wo haben Sie diese erlernt?"

Aurora enjoyed being ruffled. "I will keep that I mind. I would gladly accept your coffee. Your are the best senior I could wish for, Nacht."

Swir frowned, thinking of a suitable reply.

"Ich lerne deutsch---Bitte. Runes can be quite helpful, but they aren't invincible, especially when there's precious little to go on off. To answer your question, Aurora, it's a spell model I've put together that attempts to recreate another language from the examples I have on hand. And as you can tell, it's not very effective for anything beyond short sentences."

Laughing wryly, Swir took a sip from her coffee, pointing out the fading symbols on her wrist.

OOC I will add my character info as soon as I can access the desktop version. My character can't read minds without the aid of pagan order demons, she read people instead.

"Miss Aurora, one question at one time please. Consuming both substances at the same time has beneficial effects for your body. My blood is corrosive, mixing it with anything is not a great idea. As for who am I, I'm just a normal first-year student."

Elizabeth shrugged, she never think of herself as someone special. Four lives and still counting, she never accomplished anything other than experiencing three different ways of dying.

After doing two hours of self-study, I had a big stretch before packing up my things, ready to patrol the school as part of my Student Council duties.

Ciel after finishing the choice given to him by his mistress decided to get something to eat before exploring the academy.

'Being a servant is easier than I thought. With all the training they forced upon me, you would think it will be harder. But its all chores she was just too lazy to do herself. Well, that's fine with me.' Ciel thought as he walked towards the cafeteria.

"I'd be delighted to share what little I've learned of runes and their usage for everyday life. Since you're specializing in elemental magic, runes might not be your main means of getting around, but they can be pretty nifty in a fight. Also, you strike me as a fast learner."

She had to curb her knowing smile before it got too obvious that she knew, so Swir placed a hand over her mouth and coughed lightly, wiping her lips with a handkerchief.

Ciel was startled from the sudden voice he heard. However, he managed to hide it, and turn around to see the Student Council President greeting him.
Quickly deciding on what to say.

"Yes I am, and no I'm not really meeting up with people. Just planning to get a quick something to eat, then go explore some places in the academy. So I know where some things are more clearly before classes start. How about you? What are you doing right now?"

'Maybe I should have lied and said I was meeting people? On, second thought I rather not be caught lying this early in the mourning.' Ciel thought while giving the Prez a warm smile.

I thought about what Ciel had said on knowing where things were, "If you need any pointers on shortcuts to places, I can mark them out on your map?"

Ciel thought for a moment before answering.

"Shortcuts to the dorms to the library would be nice. And can you point out where the field is? If I recall correctly I was supposed to have detention there, but I'm not sure where it is."

"Which reminds me, Aurora, you're already taking Fire Magic III, right? Which means you're probably hoping for some content on Fire Magic IV, as well as Lightning Magic..."

Swir grinned.

"Restricted books usually can't be taken out of the library, but I copied out quite a few tomes worth of content on paper back when I was researching the relationship between elements and runes. In addition, I did the Head Librarian quite a bit of administrative favours over two summer breaks, and he gave me a 3-day-loan-period pass for restricted books. So if you have your eye on any in particular, I'll get it for you."

"Which reminds me, Aurora, you're already taking Fire Magic III, right? Which means you're probably hoping for some content on Fire Magic IV, as well as Lightning Magic..."

Swir grinned.

Elizabeth couldn't care less about Aurora and Nacht's antics. Those two just happened have something in common with the infirmary nurse, that's all.

If everyone I meet here is going to be those kind of people, there is no point in approaching them. To them, I'm just cannon fodder.

O, Lord, when will you grant this poor soul eternal rest? I'm tired of this game called life.

Finishing her breakfast, Swir was about to banter with Aurora for a while more, but she could feel a headache coming her way. Politely she excused herself, and slipped back into her dorm room for some rest.
